On Thursday, 24 October 2019– members of Wake & District had the honor to play the pipes|drums for the recruits of the 149th Class of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Held at the Colonial Baptist Church in Cary, the graduation ends several weeks of extensive academic and physical training.
The band is privileged to rehearse weekly on the grounds of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in Raleigh – and we hope we didn’t distract these cadets during their journey to become troopers with our glorious racket.
We wish all of these new State Troopers success and safety in the years of service ahead; be careful out there…
