OVERVIEW.
"We convince by our presence."
- Walt Whitman
For the sake of uniformity this information was developed to establish a simple guide on what our uniforms consist of and how to wear them.
Please form the habit of keeping your uniform clean and tidy -- which is effectively accomplished before stowing it after use. It takes little effort to look good -- please take the time. We wear uniforms, not costumers.
Members should remain in uniform at band events - or change completely. Partial wearing of the band uniform is not acceptable.
At any band event, if your appearance is deemed inappropriate, either by the standards set forth in this document and at the discretion of the band management or music directors, you may asked to stand down.
If a member loses or a piece of band issued uniform kit breaks -- please contact the band manager and instructions will be provided on how we can repair or replace items. Members will be responsible for the purchase of lost equipment.
Please do not show up at an event stating you lost and need something.
